Today, I walked in the front door to find my son in the kitchen at the mixer. He was making chocolate chip cookies. He said he was bored and cookies sounded good. I’m not sure whether or not I messed him up, but, he when he mixed the cookie ingredients up for a bit he said, it doesn’t look like it normally does. We walked back through the recipe starting with the ingredients and their measurements. All to confirm he didn’t do too much of something or too little of something. After confirming everything was measured and placed in the mixing bowl. He decided it was time for the cookie dough to be placed on the baking sheet pan.
He said, I have a feeling this will either come out right and or not come out right. This feeling was based on looking at the combined ingredients and then to him forming an opinion based on what it looked like this time versus the other two times.
After baking for 15 minutes at 375 degrees on a 110*f hot day the cookies came out looking and tasting great.
In life we tend to look at things and form an opinion based on what we see, instead of what we have become…a new creation!
